A vintage car is generally just an old automobile. But it's not the case for car enthusiasts and collectors. It is a car from the period of 1919 to 1930 and its value is incomparable. Antique cars do not have the same parts as the modern cars of today. They have categorized every car according to schemes for their ages that enforce such distinctions. Today, this term is used interchangeably with classic cars. But really it has another timeline in the eye of the enthusiast, it’s in the 1960’s to 1980’s era. There are huge differences in their built, design and most especially their parts. Some parts are discussed below.
The vintage car parts that have remarkable signature that makes it feels like vintage are the seat and seat belts, the steering wheel, gauges, mirrors, brakes and suspensions, engine components, fixings, fuel system, oil system, timing, lighting and many more. These are all parts for a vintage car but one cannot live and function without the other parts. It is not vintage if the other one is missing. As technology had developed, the transition from simple parts to a more complex one has become more and more advanced as was every other part of the vintage car. Safety issues had been addressed that leads to the modern cars of today. From a common foot pedal, a four-wheel braking has been introduced into a hydraulically actuated brakes.
Car enthusiast and collectors see their value compared to the cars of today. There are a lot of cars running around every corners of the road in every country in the whole world. But what's important is the good feeling it brings when you’re riding a car. To other people it is a vice or a luxury but to the collectors it is called fulfillment.
